Reference Values (Adults)
- Normal: < 30 mg/g
- Microalbuminuria: 30–300 mg/g
- Macroalbuminuria: > 300 mg/g
Interpretation
- Values above 30 mg/g indicate potential kidney damage
- Follow-up testing and medical evaluation are recommended
Clinical Notes
- A single abnormal result should be confirmed with repeat testing
- ACR is affected by hydration, exercise, and time of day
